Fudo Myo

This is our Dojos protector and Deity of luminescent wisdom, known by some in the west as the Wisdom King. Fudo turns anger and frustrations into salvation. The devil subduing sword in the right hand represents wisdom cutting through ignorance. The rope held in the left hand is also a metaphor for the binding up of inner and outer demons thus removing all obstacles to enlightenment,

He is standing on a rock, which also has significance as Fudo is seen as having immovable faith.
